Why people buy it
Most people start looking for a formaldehyde detector after something in the house changes: new furniture, a new mattress, fresh paint, new flooring or a move into a newly built home. How to use it
Charge it over USB Type-C (about 4 hours for a full charge). Switch it on in the room you want to check, keep airflow around the unit clear, and let the readings settle as described in the instructions. Note the numbers, then move to the next room.
For context, the World Health Organization’s indoor guideline for formaldehyde is 0.1 mg/m³ over any 30-minute period. FORMISENSE is a consumer monitor that gives indicative readings. If a reading worries you, or you need a certified result, book a professional or laboratory air test.
